This is a relief, but we are only postponing the inevitable. The surgeon seems to think it could be Celiac Disease and wants to scope me from both sides to do a biopsy of both my small and large intestine, and then check my stomach and esophagus for damage or inflammation. For my own comfort he suggested we do both of them at the same time. They are taking really good care of me, and this doctor seems to care a lot (which is seems rare). I need to Google this because I have no idea what it is. I am frightened, but the good news is that he said if it was cancer of some kind pertaining to the digestive system, I'd know by now and be extremely sick. He told me to "try and relax because it isn't the end of the world, yet."
