This is one of the many ways I know that God takes more than good care of me:
As some of you already know I recently bought a new car, which I am not all that trilled with, but anyway, I am trying to sell the old beloved cavalier myself. After spending a reasonable amount of time cleaning it and trying to make it look like it is worth more than what I am asking for, I hung the for sale sign in the window and parked it on the side of the road across from my place of work. Having been so tired and ready to go home from cleaning this car, I locked the doors and left the key in the door without realizing it. A day later I was thinking to myself "I wonder what I did with that key?", if you know me at all, you know this thought wouldn't concern me too much until someone wanted to test drive it.
WELL tonight, being over a week later, I received a call from a very kind gentleman saying that he saw the ad in the newspaper and was interested and he would like to see it, I proceeded to tell him where it was parked and if he liked what he saw I would come down and we would take it for a short test drive because there was no insurance or registration on it anymore, and I would have to go with him... An hour passed and he called back saying that he found the key and started it up and wondered what he should do with the key. I burst out laughing because I thought he was joking...turns out he was not...
My car sat on a busy street for 9 nights with the key in the keyhole of the driver's side door!! My car has no insurance! Anybody could have walked up opened the door and drove away as if it was their own car, but they didn't! I am blown away.
